For this project, I asked friends and family from all around the world to send me a “voice message of love.” Some messages were for loved ones, husband, child, others were love poems, songs. Using the sonograms (the visual wave created by the sound) of these messages, I created moving illustrations of weavings that replicated the exact tone and rhythm of the voice. The result is a series of voice messages presented as weaving animations. Filmmaker friend David Mansour helped put the film together.
