For this project, Catheline asked friends and family from all around the world to send her a “voice message of love.” Some messages were for loved ones, husband, child, others were love poems, songs. Using the sonograms (the visual wave created by the sound) of these messages, the artist created moving illustrations of weavings that replicated the exact tone and rhythm of the voice. The result is a series of voice messages presented as weaving animations. Filmmaker friend David Mansour helped put the film together.
